okay, I know what you're thinking.. I've never fsking heard
of Nightwish...who the hell are they? That's what I thought
when my friend told me about them, but wow, this is TALENT...
Not only does the lead singer (female) have a rich beautiful
voice, but the tracks are hella well-produced... We're talking
metal here folks, so obviously there is a bunch of killer guitars.
There are some
really quality riffs in their music, along with some very prominent
bass licks as well. A noted quality about their music is the
addition of keyboards. There's a certain underlying melody they
provide that harmonizes with the lead singer's voice quite well,...
There are certain times when I feel that the chorus is
a bit too 'epic' or whatever ...maybe too much melody???
Also, some of their tracks are kinda slow, and not very metal-ly,
but regardless of that, this is good stuff, peoples.
